LODGING RECOMMENDATIONS

Please let us know if you would like help looking for accommodations, but here are some of our recommendations.

*There is very little cell reception in the Catskills, so you’ll have to rely on WiFi. Make sure to load map apps before you leave WiFi if you need directions.

These options are all close to Foxfire and will have provided shuttle service to and from the celebration on Saturday. Let us know if you book an Airbnb, and we will do our best to provide shuttle transportation for you. Of course, those who stay at Airbnbs are also welcome to take the shuttle from any of the hotels listed here. Shuttles will pick up at nearby hotels between 3:30PM and 4PM and will depart Foxfire at the end of the evening between 10PM and 12AM. Please try to use shuttle service if possible!

  • The closest airport is in Albany, which is less than 90 minutes to Mt. Tremper. The NYC airports (LGA, JFK, and Newark) are about 2-2.5 hours. The Catskills do not have public transportation options, so if you are looking to explore the area, you’ll need a car.

    Trailways does run buses from New York City to the Catskills. Check their website for routes and schedules.

  • Yes! There will be shuttle service provided to Foxfire on Saturday. It will make stops at the hotels listed above, but can also make other stops directly at Airbnbs. Please let us know where you book, and we’ll do our best to provide you with transportation.

    Parking at Foxfire on Saturday will be extremely limited. We ask as many people as possible to please use the provided shuttle service. If you join us for the welcome party on Friday night, there will ample room for parking to drive yourself!

  • Please ask Estelle. Fall in the Catskills can be chilly in the morning and evenings, so please bring layers. Foxfire is comprised of grassy fields and other uneven terrain, so please plan your footwear accordingly!
